USCamera custom light seal kit for the Vivitar 220/SL, 250/SL, 400/SL, 420/SL, and the 450/SLD film cameras. This kit includes 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 mirror cushion, 1 back cover seal door latch end and 1 door hinge seal on the camera body. All seals have the adhesive already applied. Just peel off the backing and press into place.

Many times sheet foam can be best. We stock foam in sheets 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm thick.

The most important task is cleaning off the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Likewise, remove the old foam from the door channels, and very, very carefully the mirror cushion area.
Also, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, door hinge, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal. Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

Pentax K1000 Light Seals
USCamera light seal kit will fit the Pentax K1000, K2, Kx, Km, Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic II, Spotmatic IIa, Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SP500, Electro Spotmatic, ES, and the ESII film cameras. All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged. It is made of special material and to date, we are not seeing that seal decayed on the cameras we have in stock.

Pentax ME-Super Lightseals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Pentax ME, ME Super, MG, MV, and the MV-1 film cameras. This kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, a special cut mirror cushion, and the door hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed, black open cell foam imported from Japan.

Pentax Super Program Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Pentax Super Program, Super A, Program Plus, Program A film cameras. The body casting for these models is the same. This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. USCamera custom light seal kit for the Ricoh Sears KS, KS Auto, KS1, KS Super, KS Super II, KS2, KS1000, KS500, KSX, and KSX Super and other film cameras.
