Custom Cut Light Seals | Film Cameras | 35mm | Medium Format
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Also, carefully clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals. Furthermore, the best adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey foam that was once a light seal.
Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

Canonet 19 Light Seals
This custom light seal kit fits the older series Canon Canonet series made prior to 1970. They are generally bigger and heavier rangefinder cameras than the later models. This kit fits the Canonet 17, 19, 25, QL17, QL17 L, QL19, QL19 E and the QL25. This kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, a special cut mirror cushion, and the door hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed, black open cell foam imported from Japan.
