Custom Cut Light Seals | Film Cameras | 35mm | Medium Format
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Also, carefully clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals. Furthermore, the best adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey foam that was once a light seal.
Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. Just remove the backing from the foam and install. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed black open cell foam imported from Japan.
