USCamera custom light seal kit for the Canon Pellix film camera. This light seal kit consists of 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal and a replacement focusing screen seal set of 4 pieces. We find it easier to install the seals surrounding the focusing 1 piece at a time. We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.

Canon Pellix Light Seals | 35mm Film Cameras
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. In addition, clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals. Furthermore, the finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey residue that was once a quality light seal. Finally, proper installation will give you thousands of light tight exposures.
Film cameras may be in the past, for now, however, Canon is still going strong. Look here.

All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged. It is made of special material and to date, we are not seeing that seal decayed on the cameras we have in stock.
Help with removal, and replacement of foam seals is always available online.

Pentax ME-Super Lightseals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Pentax ME, ME Super, MG, MV, and the MV-1 film cameras. This kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, a special cut mirror cushion, and the door hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed, black open cell foam imported from Japan.
