The most important task is cleaning off the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Our light seal kit placement guides can really help you also. Especially if the old light seals have already been removed before you acquired the camera.
Likewise, remove the old foam from the door channels, and very, very carefully the mirror cushion area.
Also, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey goo that was once a foam light seal.
