This USCamera custom light seal kit fits all Petri 7s rangefinder film cameras I’ve seen. This foam light seal kit includes 2 door channel seals on the camera body and 1 hinge seal on the camera body. Please note. The 1st models of Petri 7s are the “Circle-Eye System’ cameras. Those cameras use that old standard furry yarny type material for the door channels and door hinge. I made this kit after many customers requested a foam kit to replace damaged, missing or moldy seals.

Petri-7s Light Seal Kit | 35mm Rangefinder Film Cameras
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. In addition, clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you have old foam. Furthermore, the finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey stuff that was once a light seal.
Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light-tight pics.

This kit fits the Canonet 17, 19, 25, QL17, QL17 L, QL19, QL19 E and the QL25. The kit includes 1 each upper channel body seal, 1 lower channel body seal, door latch plate foam seal and 1 door hinge seal on the body. All seals have adhesive already applied and to install you just peel off the backing and install.

USCamera custom Canon light seal kit fits the New Canonet QL 17, QL 17-L, QL 17 GIII, QL 19 GIII, QL 19N, and the Canonet 28 rangefinder cameras. The kit includes 1 upper channel seal on the camera body, 2 latch plate seals on the back cover, 1 latch channel seal on the back cover, 1 upper and 1 lower seal on the back cover. This 7-piece seal kit includes lower/upper channel seals for the camera body, 1 camera body hinge seal, 1 mirror cushion, 1 back cover hinge end upper channel seal, and lower/upper seals just under the film cassette spring (latch end, back cover).

Pentax K1000 Light Seals
USCamera light seal kit will fit the Pentax K1000, K2, Kx, Km, Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic II, Spotmatic IIa, Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SP500, Electro Spotmatic, ES, and the ESII film cameras. All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged. It is made of special material and to date, we are not seeing that seal decayed on the cameras we have in stock.
