The most important task is cleaning off the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Likewise, remove the old foam from the door channels, and very, very carefully the mirror cushion area.
Also, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey goo that was once a foam light seal.

I have always been a camera enthusiast. At 70 most my collection of 50’s , 60’s and 70’s camera’s (Mamiya TLR’s and Nikon’s) of which that I still enjoy running film through have degraded light seals. I stumbled upon USC and I appreciate this business more than I can express. The instructional videos and specific camera advice is priceless. The light seals are perfect fits and taking USC’s advice with the initial prep time and patience with installing the seals using my camera’s are once again joyful and not disappointing to use.
