Do you want to make your own light seal kit? Maybe you also have a photo item that needs a certain size of the light seal foam. We can help with that too.
Many times, sheet foam can be the best. We have sheet foam in 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, and 3mm thick then 100mm or 25mm wide, and 250mm long.
Plus, we have many strips of light seal material already cut to width and 220 mm long.
Before installing any new light seals…
The most important and time-consuming work is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Likewise, clean the old foam from the door channels, and very carefully the mirror cushion area.

Then remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you replace foam seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey goo that was once a pro light seal. Lastly, a proper and careful install will give you thousands of light tight pics for years.

This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. Yashica YashicaMat Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal replacement kit for all Yashica YashicaMat camera bodies. This 5 piece kit includes 4 back cover seals and 1 meter housing seal.
Please note. Though this seal kit is cut for the 124G, it fits every Yashica Model we have seen that uses seals on the back cover. Some older YashicaMat cameras may not use a seal at the door hinge. If that is the case with your camera, you do not want to add foam there.
