Please note, the R 3 and R 3MOT do not use a foam mirror cushion.

Leica R 3 Light Seals | R 3 MOT
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, door hinge, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal. Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

This custom light seal kit fits the older series Canon Canonet series made prior to 1970. They are generally bigger and heavier rangefinder cameras than the later models. This kit fits the Canonet 17, 19, 25, QL17, QL17 L, QL19, QL19 E and the QL25. This kit may fit other Sears/Ricoh models but we do not have many other Sears model cameras to check for proper fit.
