First of all, the most important task is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. I cannot stress enough, that where you place a new seal needs to be spotlessly clean.

Likewise, clean the old residue from the door channels, and be extremely careful when working in the mirror cushion area. Certainly, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing seals.
IMPORTANT. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey old foam that was once a light seal. A proper and careful install will truly give you thousands of light tight pics.

USCamera custom light seal kit for the Canon Pellix film camera. This light seal kit consists of 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal and a replacement focusing screen seal set of 4 pieces. We find it easier to install the seals surrounding the focusing 1 piece at a time. We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.

Pentax K1000 Light Seals
USCamera light seal kit will fit the Pentax K1000, K2, Kx, Km, Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic II, Spotmatic IIa, Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SP500, Electro Spotmatic, ES, and the ESII film cameras. All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged. It is made of special material and to date, we are not seeing that seal decayed on the cameras we have in stock.

This kit may fit other Sears/Ricoh models but we do not have many other Sears model cameras to check for proper fit. Vivitar 220/SL Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Vivitar 220/SL, 250/SL, 400/SL, 420/SL, and the 450/SLD film cameras. Yashica YashicaMat Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal replacement kit for all Yashica YashicaMat camera bodies. This 5 piece kit includes 4 back cover seals and 1 meter housing seal.
Please note. Though this seal kit is cut for the 124G, it fits every Yashica Model we have seen that uses seals on the back cover. Some older YashicaMat cameras may not use a seal at the door hinge. If that is the case with your camera, you do not want to add foam there.

I just received and installed the seals for the Koni-Omega Rapid film back. The product looks great and the fit is perfect. The instructions on this page are very useful with one big omission. I followed all the instructions on this page, I got tweezers the water handy to delay the adhesive (great suggestion BTW), and so on. I’m used to building models and doing work of precision. I’m a very patient guy but removing the backing paper was the thing that stopped me. I almost ruined one of the pieces in the set even when using tweezers to try to peel off the paper.
The trick that you have on your Youtube video is perfect! Once you see it, it takes minutes to do the whole job.
Why don’t you have that video at the top of the page, prominently labeled? In fact, it would be best to embed it in the page.
It was only by chance, because I read all the comments, that I found it. That can save a lot of people a lot of frustration and possibly a lot of support calls/messages for you.
