First of all, the most important work is to remove the old seals.

Focus on clean, clean, clean. Remove every bit of old foam so you cannot see any bits of old foam at all.
In addition, clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals.

Furthermore, the finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, ooey gooey residue that was once a light seal. Finally, a proper install will give you many light tight exposures.

Canon Pellix Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Canon Pellix film camera. This light seal kit consists of 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal and a replacement focusing screen seal set of 4 pieces. We find it easier to install the seals surrounding the focusing 1 piece at a time. We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.

Pentax K1000 Light Seals
USCamera light seal kit will fit the Pentax K1000, K2, Kx, Km, Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic II, Spotmatic IIa, Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SP500, Electro Spotmatic, ES, and the ESII film cameras. All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged.
