Contax G2 Light Seals | Compact 35mm
The most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, the door hinge, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal.
Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.
Lastly, Contax (Kyocera) is long gone… Yashica has new film products.

This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. Yashica YashicaMat Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal replacement kit for all Yashica YashicaMat camera bodies. This 5 piece kit includes 4 back cover seals and 1 meter housing seal.
Please note. Though this seal kit is cut for the 124G, it fits every Yashica Model we have seen that uses seals on the back cover. Some older YashicaMat cameras may not use a seal at the door hinge. If that is the case with your camera, you do not want to add foam there.
