Fujica STX-1 Light Seals

Fujica ST901 Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Fujica ST901 film cameras. This 10 piece custom USCamera foam kit includes lower/upper back cover channel seals, door hinge seal on the back cover, back cover latch plate seal, lower/upper latch plate seal on the camera body, lower/upper camera body channel seals, a replacement mirror cushion and the back cover film reminder window seal.
TECH NOTE. The channel seals on the camera body are not installed starting at the hinge end of the body, like many cameras. Lens mount facing down. For the ST901, these seals are carefully centered in the straight part of the body channels, before the channel turns downward. When installed properly, there will be little if any that seal material leftover. That is the factory install procedure. Also, the proper seals required there are shorter than you would imagine.

Kowa Super 66 Film Back Seals
USCamera custom foam light seal kit for the 120/220 film back used with the Kowa Super 66 SLR. Please note this kit uses adhesive foam. This 9-piece kit includes 2 x 1.5T channel seals on the film back body, 1 x 2.0T long seal plus 2 x 2.0T short seals at the latch plate end, 1 x 2.5T camera body latch plate seal , and 1 x 1.5T long seal plus 2 x 1.5T short seals and hinge end. One of the long channel seals will need to be cut into 3 pieces as the right channel has the counter engagement lever, and and counter reset lever openings that should not be covered with foam. Door Channel Foam – 195mm Long – No Adhesive
USCamera imported Black open cell door channel foam without adhesive. These strips are 195mm long. Available in thicknesses of 1.50mm, 2.00mm, 2.50mm, 3.00mm with various widths. Made in Japan for USCamera.
These seals are the most common sizes used for most film cameras. I find them much easier to install than adhesive backed foam and more permanent when glued down with contact adhesives like Pliobond. Just a few examples of the applications for these foam seals...
- a 1.5 x 1.5 seal was used in the body channels on the Nikon FE, FG and FM series cameras and more. The Minolta SRT, and X series body channels also use a 1.5 x 1.5 foam seal.
- a 2.0 x 2.0 seal was used in the body channels for the Canon A-Series camera. Also fits the OM series cameras body channels.
- a 3.0 x 3.0 can be used the Mamiya TLR cameras back cover.
- a 3.0 x 3.0 seal strip can be cut to 39mm long and used as a mirror cushion for most of the A-Series cameras.
