First of all, the most important and time-consuming work is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Likewise, clean the old foam from the door channels, and very carefully the mirror cushion area. Remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals. The finest light seals in the world will not adhere to that sticky, goo that was once a light seal. Lastly, the proper and careful install will truly give you thousands of light tight images.

The F1n New uses a 6-volt battery and has an A setting on the speed dial. All seals have adhesive already applied and to install, just peel off the backing and press into place.

We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.
