Cleaning the contact surface with a ketone like Acetone or a cleaner like 409, can add additional friction. Made in the USA.

I know because I purchased one of these tools from Vivitar in 1978 and I still use it today. Some of the pics in this ad are of the old box and tools.
Please Note. The is tool is not made to remove elements by twisting the tool in the hope of turning the element in place.

USCamera double bar spanner wrench can be used for servicing cameras, lenses, and other fine instruments. Double bar support for easier use. Quality stainless steel construction. This tool includes 3 sets of interchangeable tips as shown. When using the pointed tips, the working distance is 11mm - 115mm. The slotted tips are 2.6mm, and 5mm wide. The Double Bar spanner is assembled in the image shown.
