First of all, the most important and time-consuming work is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Clean the old seals from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area, and anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, goo that was once a quality light seal. A proper installation will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

This kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, a special cut mirror cushion, and the door hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. Light seals are well cut and the perfect size. Removing the old light seals is much more time consuming than installing the new ones. Pay very close attention to the two thin strips because when inserting, they can twist and stick on sideways in the narrow channel. Great product, I will be ordering a set for my Nikon FE !
