Likewise, clean the old residue from the door channels, and very carefully the mirror cushion area. Certainly, you will want to remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey residue that was once a quality light seal. Lastly, a careful install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

Canon Pellix Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Canon Pellix film camera. This light seal kit consists of 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal and a replacement focusing screen seal set of 4 pieces. We find it easier to install the seals surrounding the focusing 1 piece at a time. We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.

Canonet 19 Light Seals

All seals have adhesive already applied and to install you just peel off the backing and install.
