The most important task is cleaning out the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Likewise, clean the old foam from the door channels, and very carefully the mirror cushion area.
Also, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you need to install new seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey goo that was once a foam light seal.
An accurate and careful install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

This USCamera custom light seal kit fits the Canon F1, and F1n Old. This old style F1 or F1n uses a 1.35-volt button cell battery for the meter. The kit includes 2 door channel seals, door hinge seal, and a replacement mirror cushion. All seals have adhesive already applied and to install you just peel off the backing and press into place. The F1n New uses a 6-volt battery and has an A setting on the speed dial. All seals have adhesive already applied and to install, just peel off the backing and press into place.

USCamera custom light seal kit f0r the Canon FT, FTb, FTb QL, FP, FX, and TX film cameras. This 4 piece kit includes 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal, and 1 replacement mirror cushion. All seals have adhesive already applied. Pentax Super Program Light Seals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Pentax Super Program, Super A, Program Plus, Program A film cameras. The body casting for these models is the same. This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. Just remove the backing from the foam and install. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed black open cell foam imported from Japan.
