Leica R4 Reminder Window Foam Seal
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, door hinge, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal. Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

This custom light seal kit fits the older series Canon Canonet series made prior to 1970. They are generally bigger and heavier rangefinder cameras than the later models. This kit fits the Canonet 17, 19, 25, QL17, QL17 L, QL19, QL19 E and the QL25. This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. Just remove the backing from the foam and install. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed black open cell foam imported from Japan.
