This premium 5 piece kit includes 2 long channel seals on the body, 1 short upper back channel seal on the back cover, 1 door hinge seal on back cover and the film reminder window foam. Please note, the R 3 and R 3MOT do not use a foam mirror cushion.

Leica R 3 Light Seals | R 3 MOT
First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, door hinge, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal. Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.
