When used carefully, I was able to hold, remove and place large elements, 65mm diameter and smaller. It is a high-quality tool and lasts for years. Rubber Lens Ring Tool – LT08
USCamera LT08 rubber lens tool. Measures 26mm long, 41mm and 33mm diameter with a 5mm wide contact surface and a 4.9mm recess. Rubber tools like these are invaluable when working on lenses and camera bodies. The surface friction allows you to easily remove stubborn name rings. Cleaning the contact surface with a ketone, Acetone or similar, can add additional friction. As these type of tools age, the contact area can be rejuvenated by a light sanding with a coarse grade of sandpaper on a flat surface. USCamera made in the USA
