Not made for use with water. Made by UN of Japan. As the name states it is a sucker(suction) tool. Made for removing lens elements from group or element housings. When used carefully, I was able to hold, remove and place large elements, 65mm diameter and smaller. It is a high-quality tool and lasts for years. I know because I purchased one of these tools from Vivitar in 1978 and I still use it today. Some of the pics in this ad are of the old box and tools.
Please Note. The is tool is not made to remove elements by twisting the tool in the hope of turning the element in place.
Rubber Lens Ring Tool – LT10
USCamera LT10 rubber lens tool. Measures 26mm long, 49mm and 41mm diameter with a 5mm wide contact surface and a 4.9mm recess. Rubber tools like these are invaluable when working on lenses and camera bodies. The surface friction allows you to easily remove stubborn name rings.
