The United States Postal Service (USPS) continues to be the most popular shipping choice for Domestic and also International customers. However more than likely because it is the only mail service currently available to us.

First of all, we are not trying to make a profit on shipping.  The current pricing below includes packaging supplies, envelopes, boxes, tape, labels, and also someone’s labor to produce the package for pickup.
In addition, you may go to USPS and easily check the current postal rates for packages. Calculate shipping from 80122 to your country or zip code.
The USPS usually has a review for cost price increases every year in January.  The USPS  rates currently in effect are expensive for us and our customers, however, we have no choice but to use them.

USPS Holiday Shipping Rates – Will Update Soon

• Priority Mail Express will see an average rate increase of 2.1% during the 2023 holiday period. …
• Priority Mail will see an average rate increase of 6.1% during the 2023 holiday period. …
• First Class Package Service will see an average rate increase of 8.4% during the 2023 holiday period.

Everything we ship is a package.

The USPS also defines any container or envelope over 5 mm thick and or weighing 56 grams or more is a package, therefore package shipping rates apply.
Lastly, we are a commercial shipper.  The USPS picks up from us every day.  If we under weigh packages by error or otherwise, the USPS can cancel the postage. Then return the package(s) to us for accurate weight on a new shipping label. So we avoid all that and follow their guidelines.

Our shipping prices increased by pennies in 2024 after the USPS raised their rates to us.

Domestic transit times of some 1st class packages may be delayed by an additional 2-3 days, as the USPS states, due to the COVID virus.

Zone Shipping

The USPS continues to change USPS 1st Class Package shipping costs from flat rates to Zone shipping fees.  This year, USCamera could not offset the costs to unfairly spread the increases to all domestic shipments when it only affected the customers farthest from Colorado.

USCamera successfully negotiated a much better rate for our International customer on packages with a value of $50 and weighing .225kg or less.
