Sometimes sheet foam is the best solution. We have foam in 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm thickness available here.

First of all, the most important and time-consuming work is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Also make sure to clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey residue that was once a quality light seal. Furthermore, proper installation will give you thousands of light tight exposures.
Always exciting, film cameras may be in the past, for now, Praktica is still going strong here.

This USCamera custom light seal kit fits the Canon F1, and F1n Old. This old style F1 or F1n uses a 1.35-volt button cell battery for the meter. Pentax K1000 Light Seals
USCamera light seal kit will fit the Pentax K1000, K2, Kx, Km, Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic II, Spotmatic IIa, Spotmatic SP, Spotmatic SP500, Electro Spotmatic, ES, and the ESII film cameras. All of those cameras use the same basic body casting. This kit includes lower/upper channel seals (body), camera body hinge seal, and a mirror cushion. Please note we do not recommend removing/replacing the original hinge seal unless it is damaged. It is made of special material and to date, we are not seeing that seal decayed on the cameras we have in stock.

Pentax ME-Super Lightseals
USCamera custom light seal kit for the Pentax ME, ME Super, MG, MV, and the MV-1 film cameras. This kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, a special cut mirror cushion, and the door hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of felt and does not require replacement. In response to many customer requests who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed, black open cell foam imported from Japan.
