First of all, the most important task is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Likewise, clean the old residue from the door channels, and very carefully the mirror cushion area.
Also, remove the old door hinge and clean anywhere else you are replacing the seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey residue that was once a quality light seal.
Remember, an accurate and careful installation will truly give you thousands of light tight exposures.

This USCamera custom light seal kit fits the Canon F1, and F1n Old. This old style F1 or F1n uses a 1.35-volt button cell battery for the meter. The kit includes 2 door channel seals, door hinge seal, and a replacement mirror cushion. All seals have adhesive already applied and to install you just peel off the backing and press into place. USCamera custom light seal kit for the Canon Pellix film camera. This light seal kit consists of 2 door channel seals for the camera body, 1 door hinge seal and a replacement focusing screen seal set of 4 pieces. We find it easier to install the seals surrounding the focusing 1 piece at a time. We also include foam replacements for the 4 felt type seals on the back cover. Though those seals may look in poor condition, most are fine. We only recommend replacing them if missing.

USCamera custom Canon light seal kit fits the New Canonet QL 17, QL 17-L, QL 17 GIII, QL 19 GIII, QL 19N, and the Canonet 28 rangefinder cameras. The kit includes 1 upper channel seal on the camera body, 2 latch plate seals on the back cover, 1 latch channel seal on the back cover, 1 upper and 1 lower seal on the back cover. This 5 piece kit includes 2 door channels seals for the camera body, special cut mirror cushion, back cover hinge end top channel seal, and the hinge seal on the camera body. The original hinge seal is made of type of material that does not require replacement. I do not recommend removing the original seal and. In response to many requests from customers who have purchased cameras where the door hinge seal was already removed, we now include the foam door hinge seal. All seals have the adhesive installed. Just remove the backing from the foam and install. This kit is custom cut by USCamera and uses adhesive backed black open cell foam imported from Japan.
