Rubber Lens Ring Tool – LT08
USCamera LT08 rubber lens tool. Measures 26mm long, 41mm and 33mm diameter with a 5mm wide contact surface and a 4.9mm recess. Rubber tools like these are invaluable when working on lenses and camera bodies. The surface friction allows you to easily remove stubborn name rings. Cleaning the contact surface with a ketone, Acetone or similar, can add additional friction. As these type of tools age, the contact area can be rejuvenated by a light sanding with a coarse grade of sandpaper on a flat surface. USCamera made in the USA

The LT 10 can easily remove the name ring Rubber tools like these are invaluable when working on lenses and camera bodies. The surface friction allows you to easily remove stubborn name rings. Cleaning the contact surface with a ketone, Acetone or 409, can add additional friction. USCamera made in the USA. The LT10Â is the most used rubber tool in the shop. Just today, used to remove the name rings on a Nikkor 50 1.8 pancake lens, and a AF Nikkor 50 1.8 old style lens. Only took seconds!
