Which F1 do you have? The F1 Old cameras are made to use a 1.35 volt PX13 or 625 battery for the meter to operate. The F1 New requires a 6 volt PX28 battery to power the shutter and meter. Foam Made in Japan for USCamera. Use option to choose a quantity mirror cushions needed.

Canon F1-Old Mirror Cushions

First of all, the most important work you have to do is to remove the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean.
Make sure to remove all traces of the old door channel seals, mirror cushion, also door hinge foam, and anywhere else you are replacing old seals.
The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky goo that was once a light seal.
Finally, a proper install will give you thousands of light tight exposures.
