Genuine Canon replacement film cartridge contact for the EOS Rebel G, G II, G QD, and the EOS 500N film cameras. When a film cartridge is installed, this contact closes so when the back cover is closed the camera will preload. The most common problem when this contact is damaged or broken… the camera will not pre-load the film to frame 1.
