Genuine Pentax USED rewind knob assembly for the Pentax K1000 (Old/New), KM, KX, and the Spotmatic Series. Fits New K1000 with metal rewind shaft only. This knob also fits the Canon AE-1, A1, Vivitar A3000, and the A3800 film cameras. The image(s) shown are of an actual rewind knob we call Excellent condition. Please note. This knob fits all Old style K1000 cameras and New Style cameras that use a metal rewind shaft. Old style K1000 cameras have 3 screws on a metal bottom cover, and the battery cover is also made of metal. New style K1000 cameras have 5 screws on the bottom cover. The bottom cover, and battery cover on those cameras are plastic finished to look like metal.

USCamera Import solid metal rewind knob assembly for the Pentax K1000 (Old), Spotmatic Series, Canon AE-1, A1, Vivitar A3000, and A3800 film cameras. This is not a premium made rewind knob however it is metal, it fits, works and the only one we could find new. The finish looks sprayed on and has minor cracking.
Note the Old style K1000 has 3 screws on the bottom cover, and bottom cover is made of metal as well as the battery cover.

Please note the old style focusing screen system in the Pentax K1000 and similar models use 2 parts that make up the focusing system. The ground glass on top and the Fresnel lens below the ground glass. Genuine Pentax ground glass split image condenser lens for the K1000 Old, KM, KX, Spotmatic, SP500, SP, SP1000, SP II, and the SP IIa film cameras. Last sold by Pentax as part number 23701-L3-01. Also fits Spotmatic cameras though was never installed and sold on that model when new.
Please note, the old style focusing screen system in the models listed above, use 2 parts that make up the focusing system. The ground glass on top and the Fresnel lens below the ground glass. The Fresnel lens is plastic and damages very easily. Made by Pentax Japan.
