The most important and time consuming work is removing the old seals. Focus on clean, clean, clean. Clean the old residue from the door channels, mirror cushion area, door hinge area and anywhere else you are replacing the seals. The finest adhesive in the world will not adhere to that sticky, gooey residue that was once a quality light seal. Proper installation will give you thousands of light tight exposures.

Basic Installation Guidelines
Please note. For ease of installation, we supply the seals in pieces per side. Customers have found it much easier to manage a seals 160mm long than 1 seal over 300mm.
The 2 longer seals are for the camera side and the 2 shorter seals are for the film back side.
Working with the RA facing down, rotated horizontal, I always start on the film back side, placing the 1st seal at the top and in the middle and work my way around. When placing the 2nd seal, just butt it up against the seal where you stopped and continue until used up. Depending on how much the seals were stretched during installation, there may or may not be any material left. If you have to cut off leftover material to make the seal fit, it will be fine.
